Kids and Traveling

It games day and when I say game day, I mean its time to watch football hog the marching field. Yes, I like football. Union Wildcats, MIZZOU Tigers, and KC Chiefs. I love band more. Marching season makes fall not so lonely and depressing because I get to watch my favorite saxophone on the field and it makes me overwhelmingly proud. I am sad because high school is going by so fast but I’m also so excited for her future. I can’t wait to see her in Marching MIZZOU. She’s going to be there for so many years. She plans to get a Doctoral in Meteorology and in Nuclear Engineering. Double Doctoral degrees. This kid blows me away. She is so smart and has a serious interest in the Sciences. I got an email tonight from a Social Studies teacher at the high school. Ryleigh has been invited to go to Italy and Germany in the summer of 2028. Right after she graduates. What a wonderful experience?! Yes, I as a mom and going to go and find out what we need to go on this trip. That’s right! Mom is think about getting on a plane to go with her. I think it would be such an amazing thing to do with her and see her get this experience.

I think it would be nice to travel one day. I would love to go to Bora Bora and Greece. I always said I would never fly but here I am making a bucket list of places I would like to visit one. And it wasn’t really until an opportunity for Ryleigh came up and parents can go on the trip. Her first flight, first time out of the country, first time to Italy, first time in Germany. These are pretty big first that I would love to see and document with her. I would love to travel with my kids. As hard as they are to care for sometimes, I would love to show them the world, beaches, mountains, other countries. So let’s do this together. Let’s start a bucket list.

  1. Greece
  2. Bora Bora
  3. Germany
  4. Italy
  5. France
  6. Bahamas
  7. Switzerland
  8. Jamaica
  9. Ireland
  10. Morocco

I hope you took this time to think about the place you wish to see one day. I hope everybody who ever reads this and makes their bucket list has an opportunity one day to take a least 1 of their top 10 dream trips. I think after we are back to a good spot again, I’d like to start saving for a trip. We are still hoping to take the kids to Florida in June. Kevin, Lucas and Amelia have never been on a real vacation before.
The plan is to go the Disney, Downtown Disney, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Disney Springs, and Clearwater Beach. I want to also take the time to stop in certain places on the way to and from Florida.

I guess that all for today. Wildcats won against Hermann.
